Hey fellow hippies,
Since the three day holiday weekend is approaching (for those of you that get memorial day off) I thought I would offer up another opportunity to have bonfire drum circle weekend with a hippie potluck element added at my place near Lake Bastrop on Saturday night and maybe Sunday night two...depending on the interest...with maybe a smaller intimate version on Sunday for those who stay over. The offer still stands that if you want to stay over and chill the next day or two, my roommate moved out to live in Austin so I have a large 12X24' bedroom available that has a queen size bed, a single bed and room to blow up my king size mattress and a popup camper that sleeps eight so there is plenty of room to crash if you want to stay over...if you don't have your own camping gear. As many of you know I have three bar-b-cue pits two of which are for wood/charcoal and one gas grill as well as a few extra ice chests so you can cook out and chill. This event will start at 5PM instead of 8PM with the bar-b-cue pits ready for the potluck dinner at 7PM.

Unfortunately due to a lack of confirmations, last minute cancellations and intimations of possible legal issues, I had to cancel the formal event (bonfire drum circle). A few members showed up anyway and we had a pleasant sit down involving good food, jokes and stimulating conversation. I may have to put off another bonfire drum circle until momentum and an infrastructure screening tool is developed

Paul cooked a ton of food and what I had was delicious. Low turnout Sat. nite but we enjoyed ourselves. As a newcomer, I was made to feel very welcome.

Well the decision is close and pretty positive. My partner Tony plays a beautiful classical guitar. Drums, Bonfire, hippies, and guitars. Out in the woods. I hope more people will join us. Peace and Light, Avalon

Growing up in a Hippie Commune that was so dear to me to be able to get with like minded people to not only have fun but to learn how to all work together in the woods is Awesome!!! Thank you, Paul!!!!!!!
