When we all rally together, I'll take roll call and then we'll go over the history of the Grateful Dead and talk about how the Pigpen years were the best and the Donna years, well, weren't.--Just kiddin ha!...I figure we could all introduce ourselves then commence the booty shakin and yummy beer drinkin! They got new castle at Tazza-yum! I know it'll be a lil noisy-Tazza has really echoey acoustics-but we can just get together and hang at the show and do the formalities later!

Things I've learned as a new moderator: Have the meetup on the weekend! I'm wicked tired today! haha Someone suggested we have the next meetup at the Wheelhouse Tavern in Narragansett for the U-Melt show, Saturday April12th. Thoughts, anyone?

An awesome husband/wife celtic folk duo from Foster,RI,*Atwater-Donnelly*,are playing a few dates in RI.They do lots of ballads, traditionals and fun bluegrassy tunes! They also use this awesome percussive dancing man on a wooden plank that is called 'the limberjack' hehe They are definately fun times! The best is seeing them in the spring or summertime at one of their outdoor shows! (Upcoming show dates in post above-I hate how they have limits on these comment spaces!)
